2021 Workshop Findings

2021 Workshop Findings

In the spring of 2021, we hosted a series of conversations with more than 300 CPS parents to better understand what they wanted in a future school board.

Parents are not uniform in their beliefs, but there is no question that they wanted a seat at the table. What they did agree on is that they are overwhelmingly in favor of parents serving as board members, fair racial representation, campaign spending limits, and noncitizen participation.
